<p>Załóż długie spodnie i zamknięte buty. Zabierz wodę, przekąski i środek przeciw owadom. Dojazd na miejsce wymaga jazdy po drodze gruntowej, która może być błotnista.</p>

Canoe Trip
<p>Join park rangers for a guided canoe trip on the waters of the preserve. The program targets the casual and novice paddler. Canoes, life jackets, and paddles are provided. Visitors are asked to bring water, snacks, and water shoes. Canoe trips start in the morning (actual start time depends on the season) and take 3-4 hours.</p>
<p>The location of the canoe trip will be provided upon registration. Please call the visitor center at 409-951-6700 to reserve your spot. We have 16 seats available per trip. Please limit one family per reservation. Reservations open 2 weeks prior to trip.</p>
Lokalizacja: Canoe trip leader will provide specific location 1-2 days before the trip. Trips are usually on Village Creek in Kountze, Silsbee, or Lumberton, or Neches River in Beaumont.

<p>To nie jest typowy spacer z leśniczym po płaskiej, utrzymanej ścieżce. Warunki do wędrówek będą się zmieniać od spaceru po gruntowej drodze do wędrówki poza szlakami przez las na dystansie ponad 4 mil. Uczestnicy mogą napotkać nachylenia, powalone drzewa i płytkie przeprawy wodne.</p>
<p>Załóż długie spodnie i buty z zamkniętymi palcami. Zabierz wodę, przekąski i środek przeciw insektom. Dojazd na miejsce wymaga jazdy po gruntowej drodze, która może być błotnista.</p>

National Public Lands Day
<h2>Celebrate National Public Lands Day with stewardship!</h2>
<p>Help us clean up and beautify the Sundew Trailhead, one of the Preserve's most popular trails. All participants will receive a free 1-day coupon for entry into a participating federal public land within the calendar year.</p>

<p>Work will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Picking up trash and debris in the parking lot and on trail</li>
<li>Lifting trash bags (less than 40lbs)</li>
<li>Using trash grabbers</li>
<li>Painting trailhead structures and fencing</li>
<li>Trimming overgrown vegetation</li>
<li>Assisting with other cleanup related tasks</li>
</ul>
<p>There will be a required safety meeting at each cleanup site before work begins. ASL Interpreters will be available for the duration of the event. Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes, and to bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen. Park staff will supply all necessary equipment (gloves, bags, trash grabbers, painting materials).</p>

Stargazing Stroll
<h2>Experience the park after dark!</h2>
<p>Join a ranger to walk the Longleaf Pine Trail after sunset and observe the wonders of the night sky through a telescope as the sky gets dark. If conditions allow, we'll look at the Moon, Saturn, and distant objects in our galaxy.</p>
<p>The hike is 1 mile roundtrip. Please bring a flashlight for the return hike in the darkness.</p>
<p>Meet at the <a href="https://www.nps.gov/bith/planyourvisit/visitor-center.htm">visitor center</a>. All ages are welcome!</p>
