Childs Park After Dark

<p>Explore George W. Childs Park by lanternlight on a guided ranger hike!</p>
<div class="x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s">This hike will be from the parking lot to the first two overlooks on the paved, accessible section of trail. Rangers will interpret the area and its history.</div>

Milford Beach Cleanup - National Public Lands Day
<p>Join Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River for National Public Lands Day! </p>
<p>Volunteers will be helping spruce up the Milford Beach plaza from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Some duties will include weeding, mulching, pulling invasive plants, planting, and other landscaping duties.</p>
<p>Please RSVP on this link: www.volunteer.gov/s/volopprecord?listing=a09SJ00000NcSm1YAF by clicking the link or searching "Milford Beach" and selecting the "2026 National Public Lands Day Cleanup." Light paperwork will be filled out before the event.</p>
<p>This event is limited to 15 participants.</p>
<p>Please bring plenty of water! Food will NOT be provided at the event, so bring snacks or a lunch.</p>
<p>Dress properly for outdoor work with closed-toe shoes, long sleeves and long pants. All ages are welcome.</p>

Pop Up for Pups - BARK Ranger Program

<div class="x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s">This drop-in style program will be at Toms Creek Trailhead. Complete the pet-friendly activities with your pup to earn the Delaware Water Gap NRA BARK Ranger badge and a certificate.</div>

<div class="x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s">There will also be a pet-friendly, ranger-led walk on the Toms Creek trail at noon.</div>

<div class="x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s">This event is rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Pets must be under control and on a 6ft leash at all times while in the park (as per BARK Ranger and park rules). Please bring water and anything your pet might need for the time you are at the event.</div>
