Behind-the-Ropes Historical Preservation Tour

<p>Have you ever wondered how historic places are preserved, wanted to step into roped-off rooms, sought to learn how to conserve artifacts, or all of the above? The Behind-the-Ropes Historical Preservation tour will explore these questions and more on Saturday, September 26^th!</p> <p>See preservation processes up close, examine historic materials and furnishings, and learn about the research, restoration, and maintenance needed to protect the home for future generations. This extended tour will give participants an intimate look at the home’s transformation and its significance to the history of First Ladies National Historic Site.</p> <p>Suitable for ages 14 and up. The tour will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
