Garden Party: Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge Pollinator Garden Volunteer Day
<p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Come join us at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge pollinator garden! We’ll review the guidelines for becoming a recurring gardener, discuss our goals for the season, plant native species, perform essential maintenance, and help care for the garden together. It’s a fantastic opportunity to support your local National Park and pollinators, and to get your hands dirty—especially if you don’t have your own garden!</span></p>
<p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">All gardening tools and supplies are provided. Volunteers for this event must sign NPS volunteer form on-site. All volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.</span></p>

<p>Tours are first come first served. Visitors are guided up 95 steps and a 9-rung ladder to the lantern room. Children must be 48 inches or taller to climb. Each tour is approximately 30 minutes long.</p>
