Point Reyes National Seashore

North Beach and North Beach Road temporarily closed to visitors.

Point Reyes National Seashore has temporarily closed North Beach after a fishing vessel ran aground early on Friday, August 21st. To ensure public and responder safety during salvage operations, the closure area includes North Beach Road (aka Point Reyes Beach North), North Beach parking lot, 500 ft in all directions from the parking lot, and the area of beach in front of the parking lot.
